The Beach Boys had dozens of hits and sold millions and millions of records, but what truly sets them apart is the impact their music had on an entire generation…and how that same music continues to influence musicians today.

Their career began with songs about surfing and the Southern California lifestyle.  But their musical leader Brian Wilson soon started to imagine what he could create with his rock ’n’ roll choir and how he could use a recording studio in innovative ways to craft their sound.
